I am a disabled senior citizen and am scaling down to a one-bedroom apartment in a senior living community. The time has come to sort out my possessions and sell a number of items I simply don’t have room for anymore.
With the help of my family, I have managed to take inventory, catalog, price and photograph these items and am now posting them on my blog, craigslist, and other internet classified sites for sale.
Everything you see offered here is from my own personal collection. In most cases I have been the only owner; these items were generally purchased new by me and have been in my home since the day I brought them home from the store. All are in nearly-new, excellent or very good condition.
The vintage items have been with me for 20, 30, 40, even 50 years or longer. Other antiques were passed down from my parents or my husband’s mother; some date back to the early 20th Century.
Over a lifetime I have always filled my home with nice, pretty, and interesting objects, curios, and collectibles. (That’s how it became known as “Mom’s Emporium!”) It’s terribly hard to part with these treasures; they have brought my family a lot of pleasure and joy over the generations. It is my hope that these items will go to loving homes where people might enjoy and care for them as much as we have.
Due to my advanced age and declining health, I regret that I am unable to deliver or ship items. Therefore, buyers must be able to pick up and transport items personally. Location is convenient in Southwest Oklahoma City, near SW 36th St. between Western and Pennsylvania Avenues.
Please feel free to email me if you have questions about any items or would like to schedule an appointment for viewing.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Hope you find that special item you’ve been looking for!
